For the first time in recent memory, Student Union (SU) will not have enough money to support additional funding requests from student organizations for the 2024-25 academic year according to SU leadership, with some Treasury representatives jokingly calling it the “SU Recession.”
WashU released the results of a survey Monday morning detailing lower numbers of sexual assault and harassment on campus compared to statistics from five years ago. In the 2024 survey, the student response rate was 12.5%, down from 16.9% in 2019. Key findings, as reported by The Source, include the fact that 26.9% of undergraduate women surveyed reported experiencing sexual assault since entering WashU, compared to 35.1% in 2019.
In an ever-changing world of college sports, the strength of the WashU women’s soccer team’s defense has remained constant. Over the past decade, the Bears have allowed only 94 goals — less than 10 per season.
WashU’s addition to the NCAC makes it one of the premier conferences in Division III football.
